A countdown reaching zero does not by itself prove that the supplier refunded an activation. Kandrex separates reserved funds, completed delivery, confirmed cancellation and cases that require investigation.

Before a number is allocated
A confirmed quote reserves the order price from available funds. An explicit supplier decline proving no number was allocated releases that reservation. A network timeout is different: the supplier may have processed the request even if Kandrex did not receive the response. The platform does not blindly repeat that purchase, because doing so could allocate and charge for another number.
When an SMS arrives
A delivered code normally completes the activation and captures the reserved price. The display window is limited, so save the code you are authorized to use before it is removed. A completed activation is not automatically refundable merely because the destination platform later rejects the code or changes its requirements. Exceptions and disputes can be reviewed through support, with essential financial and order metadata retained.
If no SMS is delivered
Customers can request cancellation when the supplier permits it. The server also requests cancellation after an eligible deadline while monitoring the order. Money returns only after an explicit accepted supplier cancellation outcome. The original paid and promotional portions return to their respective wallet balances. No-SMS delivery alone is not a promise that every supplier cancellation will be accepted.
When cancellation is uncertain
A rejected or unconfirmed cancellation remains reserved for investigation. Closing the browser, refreshing, a silence in polling or a provider expired label does not independently prove a financial refund. Repeated failures move the order to a review state rather than continuing indefinitely as if everything succeeded. Use the existing order ID in a support request and avoid purchasing a replacement solely to clear an uncertain status.
Admin review and audit history
Authorized administrators can investigate supplier results and, where appropriate, record an exceptional refund of a captured order. Such a refund requires an audit reason and cannot credit the same event twice. The customer dashboard displays the confirmed status separately from pending cancellation. Read the current OTP platform refund policy before purchase; these explanations do not remove applicable consumer rights.
